We've been talking a lot about what we did over our summer vacations during "Writing". Mrs. Niles explained to us that sometimes during Writing we will get to share stories (storytelling) with each other. Sometimes we will also draw pictures to go along with our stories. As the year goes on, we will be learning how to write down words to our stories.

I had a great summer and did a lot of fun things. I went to the beach and the pool a lot this summer. I practiced real hard this year and learned how to swim.
I love the park and spent some time at the park right by the Capuano School.
I love books and spent a lot of time listening to stories. I can't wait to learn to read this year. I practiced my letters and sounds this summer to get ready. I also practiced writing my letters since I know we'll be learning how to write too.
Summer vacation was great but I'm real excited to start kindergarten!
